The Chapel in the Pines 100th Anniversary
And for the next generations
The summer of 2024 marks the Chapel in the Pines’ centennial year! We invite you to support an endowment fund campaign that will serve to ensure the wellbeing of the Chapel for its next 100 years. Please give generously to the Chapel in the Pines Fund!
This charming ecumenical chapel draws attendees from all over the Northwoods, and reflects a notable part of Three Lakes history: long before there was road access, parishioners would travel by boat to attend services. Pastors of many different faiths deliver services during the summer months of Chapel operation. Further, collection plate revenues are used in part to bolster the work of local organizations such as the Demmer Library, Three Lakes Food Pantry, and others.
The Three Lakes Community Foundation has entered into an agreement to raise the first $10,000 of an endowment along with the Chapel’s owner, the Ladysmith Point and Vinden Beach Camper’s Association, Inc. (LP&VBCA) The endowment will be held in trust, with only its investment income used to meet the Chapel’s needs. Your gift will be fully tax deductible and you will receive a receipt and thank you note. And you will know that you helped leave an important legacy in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
